I have 40 years’ experience working within the agricultural industry. It’s a great privilege to do so, and I still love it.

We face ever great challenges to help our client’s businesses remain profitable and resilient. We are a business based around service. I firmly believe that independent agronomy and the strength and depth of this team beside me at Crop Management Partners and Agritek, helps our clients to achieve their business goals, and to also to enjoy ourselves along the way.

Sam Pociecha

Since graduating with a BSc in Agriculture, specialising in crops and agronomy, I have worked and advised in the agricultural industry for 20 years across horticulture, arable and mixed arable/livestock situations. The physiology of crop growth and its interactions with nutrient supply and the surrounding environment to achieve the best possible yield and/or quality continues to fascinate me. My goal is to work with my customers to achieve the best possible outcome with what resources we have available, to explore any new avenues to improve current practise, and be respectful of the environment within which we work.

Stuart Martin

Having graduated from Newcastle University in 1993 with a BSc in Agricultural Agronomy, I spent the last 20 years working as an agronomist. I am thoroughly enjoying the more ‘hands-on’ approach and diverse challenges that come with being an Independent Agronomist. I believe that to obtain the best margins you have to recognise that the soil management, cultivation techniques, variety choice and fertiliser precision is as important as traditional agronomic inputs.

I am also fully approved BASIS trainer and get great satisfaction from teaching the next generation of agronomists.

Toby Dingle

With an embedded passion for farming derived from an upbringing on our family livestock farm combined with years of working on arable farms it was clear I wanted a career in agriculture. My love for agronomy began whilst studying at Harper Adam’s where I first encountered crop management partners. Working with farmers to establish the most economic practices that provide positive outcomes in yield, soil health and quality is a vital aim of mine and with an independent and unbiased view there is a wide range of approaches to utilise.

After graduating from Harper Adams University, which involved a year working on field trials with Syngenta, I spent 2 years as an agronomist in Western Canada. I can draw on a wide range of experience across numerous crops, soil types and climates. I am passionate about integrating sound agronomics, precision farming and soil health and love to be on-farm with growers.

Tristan Gibbs

As a truly independent agronomist my focus is to develop a rotation over the years that will improve profit and enhance the crop’s potential. With no commercial bias I am free to advise through the seasons with decisions based on the current year’s pest pressure, recent trials data and legislative changes.

Luke Bullock

Having graduated from Harper Adams Univeristy in 2022 and joining CMP shortly afterwards Luke, has a range of practical farming experience from his time before higher education.

This experience provides him with a familiarity of the practical challenges of farming combined with a true desire to provide independent agronomic advice.

Luke enjoys being able to assist farmers in all aspects of crop production throughout Wiltshire and surrounding counties.

After recently graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture I wish to bring both my academic knowledge and practical farming experience forward into my agronomy career. I am passionate about providing independent, practical agronomic advice and supporting growers in optimising crop performance. I have also spent time working across arable and mixed farming systems which has given me a practical understanding of the day‑to‑day challenges faced by growers.
